CorrectStar
provides comprehensive options for the
management and tracking of infectious
and chronic diseases such as TB, HIV and
hepatitis. CorrectStar has the standard
CDC entries for PPD induration including
the different normal induration size if
the patient is HIV postive. The system
can also handle erythema, anergy testing,
lot number, injection site, request for
x-ray and follow up PPD testing.
Query
Display allows any user defined
query to be linked as an option or directly
into various standard reports such as
the Profile in CorrectStar. For example,
if a patient was hypertensive but had
not had a BP check for 30 days, a query
would automatically alert the medical
staff when that patient record was accessed.
Reports
are generated automatically by the system
to check compliance with medical guidelines
for chronic disease (lab, medication
recommendations) and/or to verify National,
State or County regulations on timelines
for various types of assessments (eg.
oral screening within 14 days of admission).
